Title: Adjust spacing in tracks for selected album
Post by: cereal_eater on March 19, 2025, 11:00:12 PM
Hello musicbee community,

I searched the forum and browsed trough all the settings, like change number of colums displayed, but I can't adjust the spacing in tracks from selected albums. I want to display Side A, Side B, etc. in Track#

Is this possible without changing the font size? If not, how do you tag mixtapes on cassette or tracks on vinyl?

What element are you using to display this in the main panel?  I am using one called "Files" and, at the top, I have columns which can be dragged around and resized.  Perhaps you are using an element which cannot be changed?  Without a bigger screen shot it is hard to see everything so just guessing ATM.

Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention it is the Album Cover grid in the main panel. When you select a Album, the tracks of the selected Album appear underneath. Unfortunately, there is no column separator above, which can resize the column.

I do not think this element has any formatting settings for the text.  At least everything I tried did nothing to effect it.  The only thing that helped was to change the area in which it was displayed.  If you choose bottom or right then you do get customizable columns.  But you lose the cool custom popup from your original post...

Edit: Sorry... I neglected your second question.  Personally I always use the listings for CD, but looking at Discogs as a reference, they are listing vinyl albums with A or B and track number.  So A1 through A## and B1 through B##.

Thanks for your input. I ended up by following you suggestion above and just put in A, B, etc.
