Title: Skin Element
Post by: aktor on December 05, 2024, 10:43:09 AM
This element <element id="Controls.ArtworkFrame" bdr="255,255,255" /> in xml doesn't over ride settings in xmlc skin (skins with same name) like all other setting that you can change.
Any idea how to make artwork frame invisible?

This seems to be working only in album and tracks view. But not in music explore and album cover view.

I'm having the same issue.

it seems there is some hardcoded border in some views that I can't remove through skin editing:

You can see it in the screenshots below. (I'm using here a "NoArtwork" image that uses transparency, the issue is also present if using the rounded corners plugin)

- "Album Covers" view with "fit the artwork to the size of the panel" ticked:

Update: I just noticed that you can still see the border when switching to the  "More Albums" tab of the Music Explorer. (for example as it loads the images)

Now it looks nice. The only wish I have is for an option to cache different views covers separately so the plugin could apply different borders to different views. Depending on the size of cover ( album view, music exlprer or album and tracks view) the borders should be different, for optimal view.

in this view the border as still visible. (horizontal album "slidebar" when you click artist)

How does one get the sliderbar to show? I'm trying to find the option.

You need to switch to the "Artists" view and have at least 2 albums for that particular artist.
and of course, have it show the album tracks directly under the selection.
