Recently I have noticed a new file being created in MB Portable's AppData folder named "_source.log." Its contents are related to radio stream OR file listening and contain multiple one-line entries of the stream URL appended by the title of the song that was being sent, or the actual file path of the song being played, repeated multiple times for the same song.
As new songs are played, the lines are appended to the end of the text file. If the file is deleted, it is re-created the next time a stream or file is played.
I have MusicBee 3.6.8954-P; what is doing this, and how can I STOP it from doing it?? A cropped example of what is being generated:

That's a great question. I don't do radio streams with MB, but my "_source.log" file shows the 4 to 10 entries of the same song one right after the other. Most are from my Z: drive, which is where my music files live and some are from my G:\MusicTemp drive which is where my work in progress (Inbox) files live.
The file creation date is June 4 2024 and the size is 1.30mb. I looked through the entire MB directory for any files with the same creation date and I don't see any. I did find in my archives mb_LyricsReloaded 1.2.10.zip which has the same creation date.

You found it, phred! I renamed mb_LyricsReloaded.dll (in my case version 1.2.2) in my Plugins directory and the "_source.log" creation ceased. So, the log is still happening in the latest version.
Until Mayibongwe can fix this, I'm rolling back to 1.2.0.8. The only "loss" there is the ticket ad crop search, and the addition of two broken Musixmatch entries, easy enough to un-check. An alternative is to add "_source.log" to my MusicBee cache deletion/cleanup batch file I run nightly. Maybe I'll just do that, Mayibongwe is usually a pretty quick fix.

My bad guys, it's something I forgot to remove while testing this: https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=1972.msg222946#msg222946
I shall fix that later this evening.
And great find find phred, I wouldn't even have guessed that this was my doing.

Thanks. Every now and them I manage to come up with something worthwhile.
