Title: How to Edit existing XMLC skins

Hi All, I'd like to tweak the colour of an existing skin and remove some lines from the main viewer. Just wondering the best way to do this. I tried opening one skin in Notepad++ but all the content was scrambled, unreadable. Thanks.
