Title: Advance notice of website expected downtime
Post by: Steven on June 03, 2020, 10:30:23 AM: Unfortunately, once again my web host is migrating the site to a new server and hence that will mean a period of time where new forum posts will be lost during the data transfer and possibly a period of time where the website wont be accessible. Very annoying and also very stressful for me!

It should be happening next Monday Eastern Australia time but I will confirm closer to the time.

Don't let the stress get to you. Have you considered beer? Wine? Scotch? Deep breathing? Counting to ten over and over again?

Post by: Steven on June 07, 2020, 01:10:51 PM: Bumping this as a reminder there will probably be downtime tomorrow. I haven't been given an exact time the data will be transferred but I understand it will be Sunday evening Los Angeles time and any forum posts made after that will be lost until the new server is ready.
I have temporarily disabled new registrations until the new server is ready.

@bee-liever is see your most recent forum posts have been lost - I can send the text to you if needed.

Can anyone confirm whether they needed a certificate error displayed in your browser and you needed to use Advanced settings in the browser to bypass that?

I needed nothing. I hit my bookmark and since I always stay logged in, I got to the site where I left off yesterday. No issues.
