Hi,
I've come across a bug. When I'm sending files to my phone (while converting to aac) the replaygain tags are coming off. I've tried converting first, then sending which keeps the tags.
Cheers

The poor descriptions of the setting "level volume" keep users confusing. What it does is to re-encode files with permanently adjusted volume when the source files already have ReplayGain tags. If they have no RG tags, it has no effect: it doesn't do volume analysis.
The setting is useful since a lot of mobile apps/devices don't support RG tags, but the descriptions need to be more clear and informative.

Thanks for the quick response. However this happens when the volume normalisation is not ticked.

Then it sounds like a bug.

It seems that Steven missed this fix in recent versions :'(

I spotted that before I posted this. It seems to have reoccured in the newest version. Mind you I do have a new phone so that might have something to do with it.

it should be fixed now:

unzip and replace the existing musicbee files

Oh, thank you Steven! I've been waiting for this. I confirmed that the newly synced .aac files have replaygain tags correctly.
