Hiya Again - sorry to be asking questions all the time, but how can I change an artists picture

Right-click on the artist's picture, read context menu options.

Thanks for that but doing as you say does not give you the option to change the artist profile image(s) in the left hand pane.

If you're talking about the thumbnail browser, there is a paste artwork option in the context menu. You need to first copy an image, then you can paste it.

Thanks again for that - however I have downloaded an image that I want to use - resized it in photoshop to match the sizes of all the other artist images 1000px x 1000px at 72dps - right clicked the image after saving it copied it gone to paste it in as suggested but the option to paste is greyed out

Copy the image in an image editor (the image, not the file), then paste. Otherwise, you'll need to rename the image file you are using to exactly match the artist's name in your tags (Elvis Presley.jpg for example) and move it into \Library\Artist Pictures\Thumb in your MB installation. If memory serves, the default image size is 500x500 pixels.
