Title: Where does the "Last Played" date come from?
Post by: Maith on October 15, 2017, 06:02:52 PM
I started a new library this in May 2017. Some songs I've never played in MusicBee have a "Last Played" date going back to 2011.
I imported some songs from iTunes where I played them, I guess. Supposedly on the specific date.

Is this field saved in the file in some tag? I thought this date is only saved in the library.
If it's saved in the file, is there a way to edit it?

Yeah, probably you have imported it from your iTunes library.

The value is saved in MB database only and not possible to edit directly.

However Additional Tagging Tools plugin can access and edit those values. Use "TOY: Set tag" preset with Advanced search and replace command.

Or could it be, that the "Last played" field was synchronized from last.fm?
