Title: Column browser in "album and tracks" view selects albums rather than tracks-5867

MB: 3.0.5867
OS: Win7 x64

Pic of my setup (pay attention to the rating column [last one on the right]): http://i.imgur.com/OfogsoK.jpg

Issue:
When selecting 5-, 4.5-, and/or 4-star ratings, entire albums containing tracks with any of these ratings are selected rather than the tracks themselves.  Going by the pic above, if I select 4-stars under ratings, it selects all of the albums seen above rather than limiting the display to 4-star tracks only.

Expected Result (as seen in MB v2.5.5):
When I select 4-stars under the ratings column, MB displays only 4-star tracks in the track browser below.

Working fine here with a similar layout.
Maybe you posted the wrong screenshot, but looking at it you have selected 'All' ratings (10 items), so the result in the main panel seems correct in displaying all tracks and albums?

in the Album and Tracks layout, there is a setting accessible from the search button: "Search Results"/ "Always Show Entire Album" which is possibly enabled by default.
I will test v2.5 to see what the behavior was, but my expectation is this is a bug as the setting should probably only be used for text searches

edit:
it is the same behavior as v2.5 - on reflection i am not sure that is the right thing to do but i know if i change it someone else will be complaining

I just used a screenshot I posted to reddit a few days ago as an example of my setup, not the bug.  Its purpose was to direct the viewier on what to focus on in my bug report.  *sigh* since you insisted: http://i.imgur.com/1mMiBhw.jpg

Are you sure you are using the latest beta release (5867)?

Bingo.  Yeah, I also thought the search box settings only applied to search results from there.

I didn't insist on anything, I just noticed that the screenshot you supplied with your question didn't display the error you mentioned.
