Adds WMP's playlist back/forward functionality. Cycle back and forth through all your playlists, picking up the previous playlist's song from where it left off. Also stores all history so if a playlist goes awry, you can go back through your history and recover it. Stores 30,000 songs' worth of playlists by default but this value can be adjusted to any value.
This was made by Alex Rose, @AlexRoseGames on twitter. More about my games at the bottom if you wanna support me, they are legitimately dope, like we're talking 9/10 on gamespot + destructoid dope if you like games.
=== THIS PLUGIN ===
This plugin basically restores what WMP could do, but on steroids. You can use the Commands "Playlist History: Go Back" and "Playlist History: Go Forward" to hop back and forth between playlists, and lo - your playlist shall run hither and thither. Importantly - it will keep your old timestamps. So if you're like me and hop between playlists or open songs and then want to go back to where you left off, just hammer the back button and it will play from the exact timestamp.
I personally like to set toolbar buttons with names < and > to they appear at the top right and can quickly hop back and forth.
By default it's set so after 30000 songs it will start deleting the bottom of your history as you make new history. If you want to lower (Or raise if you're a certified badman extraordinaire) the value, go to MusicBee/Plugins/PlaylistHistory and change the number in MaxSize. The words don't matter, it just looks for a number, just put a number of songs you want to store in there. I kept it at that value because sometimes I might click my entire song library and line up 20k songs at once twice in a row. If it lags try lowering that value.
If it's really laggy at any time, or broken, just delete history.txt from MusicBee/Plugins/PlaylistHistory.
Likewise, if you ever accidentally delete your playlists, they'll all be stored here. Neat, huh? You'll have to manually go through it yourself tho, rip.
=== INSTALLATION ===
Either drag it to whereever you installed MusicBee/Plugins/ or hit ctrl+o when you open musicbee to enter preferences, then hit plugins at the bottom and import the .dll file.
=== MY GAMES AND STUFF ===
I make dope games, my game Super Rude Bear Resurrection got Gamespot's GOTY Editor's choice 2017, it's like Meat Boy but every time you die your corpse stays behind and you can pile them up and carpet the spikey floors with your safe fleshy bodies. Push them around, use them as human (or ursine) shields. Every corpse makes the game easier but you can actually beat the whole game without dying if you're pro, like me, but you aren't. (Yet). It gets much harder than meat boy but anyone can beat it because of the corpses.
It's already out on Steam/PS4 and may be out on Switch/Xbox One by the time you read this. If you liked this plugin, consider buying my game, you'll enjoy it. Or you can google Rude Bear Ludum Dare and see I've released over 20 free Rude Bear games that are generally highly acclaimed, so if you wanna go down the rabbit hole of cool free games I made in 72 hours, go for it. Their readmes are even better than this one. A difficult feat, I know!
Anyway, enjoy your life, hopefully this doesn't crash or some shit lolz, works fine for me in my whole 20 minutes of testing. <3333
