Middle-click filtering for multiple artists

Middle-click filtering is a wonderful feature that drastically reduces the need to use search box. Unfortunately, it's not working for an individual artist entered as one of multiple artists. For instance, if I middle-click on artist "A" of multiple artists "A; B; C," it filters to the tracks of not "A" but of "A; B; C." It would be great if it can filter by an individual artist of multiple artists.

Sorry to bump and old thread, but redwing's description can't be any clearer, and there has never been feedback on this request.

I always use the search box to find the tracks of a specific artist because middle-click gives me only results matching all tagged artists.
This feature would make browsing much easier.
