I have added support for the above items in the 2.4 translation file
@Xyzzy, the display behavior in the Now Playing assistant has been changed

What is "keyboard handling" in new2.4.txt?
Is it a comment?

And "#Main.msg.{0filesrem#" looks odd.
Is it right?

please remove the "keyboard handling" line as it shouldnt be in the file
#Main.msg.{0filesrem# is correct - its a message that indicates the number of duplicated files removed

Hi Steven,

I have found some hardcoded strings in MusicBee 2.4.5227b that are included in the New2.4.txt update file, but aren't translated when running the program.

1. New DSP-plugins and their descriptions in the equalizer window

2. The string "Track Search" in the left panel in the main window

3. The string "Search Specific Fields" in the drop-down list for the search field

part of the problem will be that in your file you the text "..." has been replaced with a single character unicode variation - each time i compile your file i need to do a global search and replace to fix that.
As to track search, i see no reason it shouldnt work with #Main.menu.WebSearch# - perhaps there is a formatting issue in the file?

That would have been good to been told earlier. Please don't hesitate to bring problems to the table as they are discovered. I never get offended or hurt by criticism, and certainly not constructive criticism, so if there's something that needs to be dealt with, just tell me.

I'll swap the character (ellipsis) for three separate dots instead. Since Swedish often use more characters than English (in computer strings), using the ellipsis is a way to cut the strings by at least two characters.

Not that I can find. At least not in the immediate vicinity of that string. I'll do a re-formatting back and forth. Let's see if that takes care of the problem, if it's a small glitch in a single character or line.

No, there's no change. I did the following:

1. Exchanged all ellipses with three full stop characters.

2. Re-formatted the file from UTF-8 w/o BOM to ANSI and back again, to weed out any formatting glitches.

3. Screened the file for anomalies. None found.

Edit: I just uploaded a new version of the Swedish LNG language file, without ellipses.

your file works fine for me - my guess is you have the .lngc file in the same folder, which MB would use in preference

Heh, yes that's it.

I usually delete it, but I guess it was reinstalled when I ran the setup file for 2.4.

Works fine now :)

In the "Tools preferences" there's not enough space for the new column "wait *" or the start should be more flexible (shift to the left if needed): In German the translation would be "warten *", but the "*" is not visible.

All new subscriptions that have not been listed to.

Shouldn't it be 'listened'?

Hi, I've found two not translated texts.

1. In Organisation of Library files window.
http://piulento.net/MB/tmp/mb-20140607-1.png

2. In Volume Analysis window.

Regards.

thanks butty - for 1 it will be in the next file as but can be used now:
#Org.ctl.76A4E536#   Define the rules for organising files in your library - files not in your library are excluded

for 2, that will be added to the next file
