Stop removing songs from history list

I have a history list from 2014 which has play counts, etc.. But they all are kept just for the file, not the artist or song name. And after I delete a duplicate song it automatically is being removed from this list, sometimes the duplicate song has the original play count, but the other file has 0 play count.

You can replace the original file with the new song (right click > send to > folder (replace)) and keep the original data.
