Solving stuttering on start in Windows 10

I was having trouble with MusicBee regularly stuttering when I "unpaused" tracks. I'd also noticed that the external drive I keep my music on was constantly rumbling away even when I wasn't playing music.

Found out how to uninstall Microsoft's Groove Music and the problem is resolved.

Apparently it constantly checks music files trying to index them.

I just wanted to give this a big thumbs up.    Not only did speeds increase to my network Drobo but all stuttering is one.
