Weird behaviour - "Queue selected tracks next and play now"

In 3.0.6228 the queue next and play now does two odd things when enabled:
1) Often doesn't play the clicked song, but a different one from nearby
Edit: Happens sometimes, doesn't others. Happens if:
Select album to play > Album plays > Select track 3 > Track 2 plays
2) Doesn't trigger a crossfade. This used to occur but hasn't now for sometime. Never thouht of writing about it here until now. This feature was really nice for me when I found it, but stopped working a while after I started using MB :L
