I noticed that when I move/rename a file that's already in the library, when I rescan, the file will be added back but with the play count reset to 0. I tried to copy the play count to another tag (www radio artist or something), but the problem I think is, the track is always added with 0 play count. Is there a way to avoid this?

Hi, welcome to the forum!

To prevent this happening in the future, just use MusicBee to move or rename the file. (You can edit the filename in the tag editor, or you can use Send To > Folder in the context menu.)

If you link to a last.fm account, it can save the play counts for you.  It's not perfect, because the track has to match the song in last.fm, but it gets most of them.  You'll also be starting from 0 at last.fm, so you'll lose what you currently have.

I got it. Then I'll use this from now on to organize my files and folders. Thank you.
