I guess I missed a recent change.

My playlists are in the left sidebar navigator. If I right-click > Edit Auto Playlist, a floating edit window pops up over the main MB window. I like this behavior. If I do the same with a static playlist, the list of tracks opens in the right sidebar covering up the panels I have selected for that area. And I have to click the Settings button in order to edit the playlist. How do I get the old behavior back? IOW I want it in a floating window like Auto-Playlists behavior.

That change was part of the playlist manager enhancements.  I think it was supposed to be more like iTunes?  It sounded odd to me, but I haven't tested it much.

I never used iTunes so I wouldn't know.
So there's no option to get the Auto Playlist edit window to appear like the static playlist edit window? Too bad.

Good to hear. Thanks Steven. Just wondering - is there a technical reason it couldn't pop-up in a floater as static playlist editing does now?
