Hey,

OS: Win 10 x64
Version: Latest
Output mode: WASAPI

I apologize if this has been reported already. I don't have time to look around.

When I enable "Visualizer" the audio speeds up, simple as that. Well probably not. But that's what happens.

  • Now with FiiO M11!
While poking around regarding a question posted by hyber I noticed that the playback does increase in speed while any visualizer is running, about double. This occurs with ASIO or WASAPI, but not directsound. Results were the same on two different audio devices. A similar thread was started back on 9/27/2015, and it looks like a similar issue was already addressed here. I'm not concerned about the functionality as I do not use visualizers, offered only as a possible bug report.

The usual so maybe someone can help you:

1.  What version of MusicBee are you using, the exact version from the Help/About menu?
2.  What is your playback output set to?  Are all output types affected?
3.  What DSPs/sound effects are in use/checked?
4.  Describe what you do exactly (what visualizer etc.) that make the audio suddenly speed up in a way where the steps can be reproduced?
