I am a new user. So my question is probably has a very simple solution.

I want to edit titles and tags of some certain songs on my sony xcompact.
I can modify everything i want but the changes are not applied to the original songs.
Would anybody please can tell me how to do it in a right way?

Thank you in advance

When you say "original songs" are you referring to the files in MusicBee or on the Sony?
And are you trying to edit the tags in MB or on the Sony?
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

So you're accessing the files on the device, while it's connected to MusicBee?

Changes to the files on the device are not transferred to the original files.  If you want to change the tags on the device, you should change the original files and then resync them, rather than the other way around.

Well, i see.

Thank you. I thought it worked much like with the iTunes where you can easily edit your files directly
via iTunes.
