I get this error (in a pop-up window) when I try to apply the new DarkRED skin:

Code
1/17/16 9:21:17 AM - 10.0.10586.0 - 3.0.5857.40583 - System.InvalidOperationException: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.

Then I have to kill MB via task manager.  When I restart it, the skin is applied, but I switch to another skin and back the error happens again.

i cant reproduce this using your settings and the error itself doesnt really help.
However i do have one idea. Could you temporarily disable the auto-synch on your first device and see if that makes any difference?

Yes, disabling auto-sync seems to fix it.

I feel like this was my fault because I deleted & reordered a bunch of elements in the skin file

I don't think so, because it was happening to my skin, too.
