UPDATE 07/16
I've rewritten this black and white skin for compatibility with newer versions of MusicBee (currently 3.0 Update1). Enjoy!

Notes:
-based on Crimson. Credits to the author.
-values that seemed to do nothing have been left at default Crimson values.
-If you see something that doesn't follow the black/white scheme, let me know so I can update it
-Extract to \MusicBee\Skins\ and enjoy the darkness!

08/15:

I couldn't find a skin dark enough so I decided to make one myself and share it with you.

Presenting The Void - a skin so dark, it blackens your very soul. Hope you like it!

Highlights:
- Deep black with little to no borders.
- High contrast with all white text to reduce eye strain.
- Based on the Charcoal skin. Credits to the original author for the groundwork.
- Extract to \MusicBee\Skins\Dark\ and enjoy the blackness!

Notes:
- If you want bigger (or smaller) custom fonts, settings can be found in edit > preferences
- There are quite a few values that did not appear to have any visible effect. If you notice something that needs theming, please let me know.
- It  (currently) doesn't seem to be possible to fully theme the system tray notification popup.

Great work on the theme. I absolutely love it and have been using your theme for a while now.
Ever since I upgraded to windows 10, I have wanted a dark theme with a red accent to match the theme with the rest of my apps on windows 10. I came across the DarkRED Metro theme (http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=10884.0). It had the right accent, but wasn't dark enough.
Now I don't know anything about theming or I would've extracted the accents from the DarkRED theme and applied it to your theme myself. I know I'm asking a lot, but can you please make a theme like this with red accents pretty please? Thank you soo much in advance!

EDIT:
So I opened the file with Notepad++. The devs have definitely made theming very easy; I, having no prior knowledge or experience with XML files, was able to edit the theme to suit my needs. I hope you don't mind that I modified your theme. Here's the link to the modified version:

It's still a work in progress, hence, not everything is accented yet. I still have to work out how to edit the shuffle and repeat buttons etc. Also, I plan to change the pause/play and next, previous buttons to that of the metro skins (accented too,of course).
I wish you can help me in this regard.

PS: It seems I'm not tech-savy enough to find the option to attach a screenshot. Hence, I'm uploading one to my google drive:

EDIT 2:

Hi edhenry59,

It is extremely easy to theme in musicbee - I'm no expert myself. It's even easier if you edit an xml from a theme like mine where all the fonts and buttons are white (255,255,255) or at least 200+.

Or you can open a random theme in notepad++ and change something like 10 values at a time to different colors that are aasy to spot both within music bee and in the text editor- like 255,0,0 (red), 0,255,0 (green), 0,0,255 (blue), 255,255,0 (yellow) and so on. Save the xml and observe the changes by reopening musicbee itself.

Be sure to check out the skinning guides on the musicbee wiki! Happy theming!

Thank you for doing this! I had the same issue that all the "dark" themes were too grey, and not really dark at all.  8)
