Maybe this is not needed for experienced MB users, but new users would appreciate such basic and essential menu commands as "Add files" and " Import Playlist". Current "Rescan/Add files" command is misleading because it's actually "Rescan/Add Folders" command, not offering an ability to select and import individual files and playlists in a folder. If you get accustomed to using MB, then you may get to know there are other ways to do that, but it won't be easy for new users to figure out how to add individual files and playlists to MB library without such a menu command.

+1, especially for playlists.  Adding playlists sometimes trips me up even now.

Bump.

I'd like to see this command added to the official 2.5 version. Current "Rescan/Add files" command could be renamed, accurately, to "Add/Rescan folders".

Also consider putting a strong warning on "auto-organize" setting to prevent new users from turning it on without proper tagging with their files. The problem is that once they execute it, there's no way to undo the changes.
